Take the Plunge! Take the next step in your faith journey!
At Renewal Church, we believe water baptism is a joyful celebration of your decision to follow Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Just as the symbols of the wedding and wedding ring are a declaration of a marriage covenant, water baptism is the beautiful outward declaration of the covenant you’ve made with God. As your church, we are excited to stand with you as you publicly declare your commitment to surrender your life to the Lord.
You are warmly invited to bring your family and friends to witness this incredible event - it will take place after the second service under the portico.
What to expect
As you enter the "baptistery" (a big inflatable hottub - with warm water), your name will be announced so your Renewal family can celebrate you. We will share the testimonial you provide us when you register, allowing everyone to hear your story.
The pastor will ask, "Do you know Jesus as your personal Savior?" Based on your public profession of faith, the pastor will guide you as you are briefly submerged in water, baptizing you "in the name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Buried in the likeness of His death, raised in the likeness of His resurrection."
We are so excited to celebrate this special moment with you! We will do our best to livestream the baptism for those who can't make it in person, though we can't always guarantee technology will cooperate.
If children or families are being baptized, the family can be in the water together. Parents are welcome to be involved in their child's baptism, as long as the child can understand the concept and has asked Jesus into their heart. Please let us know how we can assist. Space in the baptistery (the tub used for immersion) is limited, so it's typically the father, as the priest of the home, or the mother, as a single parent, who participates in their child's baptism.
Feel free to bring your camera for friends or family to take pictures of this memorable event.
Please ensure that your child(ren) understands the significance of baptism. Baptism publicly shows that you want to follow Jesus after you've given your heart to Him.
We look forward to sharing this joyous occasion with you!
Once you register, please check your email for further instructions.

And the eunuch said, "See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?"

FAQ about Salvation
Question: What must I do to be saved?
Answer: God's simple plan for salvation is centered on His love for us. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to live a sinless life and die on the cross for our sins. By believing in Jesus and accepting Him as our Lord and Savior, we receive the gift of eternal life. This involves confessing our sins, repenting, and trusting in Jesus' sacrifice and resurrection. Salvation is a free gift of grace from God, and through faith in Jesus, we are reconciled with God and assured of a place in His eternal kingdom.
Read these Bible verses for more (these verses outline humanity's need for salvation, and God's provision through Jesus Christ, and the response of faith required to receive this Gift of grace: John 3:16, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:8, Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:6, Acts 4:12
Question: How do I pray to be saved?
Answer: The "Sinner's Prayer" is a way for someone to express their repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, seeking forgiveness and committing to follow Him. While the exact wording can vary, it's the heart that matters. Here is a commonly used version:
"Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins and rose from the dead. I trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord. Please come into my life and guide me by Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for Your grace and the gift of eternal life. In Jesus' name, Amen."
This prayer reflects a heart of repentance, faith, and commitment to Jesus Christ.
